Public transportation in Barcelona is the fastest and cheapest way to move around. Barcelona transport consists of metro, train, bus, taxi and bikes as well. If you want to get into Barcelona through the port then ferry is another good option.
Barcelona airport is only 13KM away from central Barcelona and after landing here you will get several options for getting from airport to the city. You can hire taxis abound outside the airport’s three terminal to access C-246 highway. Buses leave the airport after every 15 minutes from all three terminals. Buses services are available from 6AM to 12 midnight. Airport is also connected by the train which runs after every 30 minutes to four destinations from 6:13 AM to 11:40 PM. The suburban train service is available from 5:45 AM to 12:05 AM on Monday to Thursday, from 5:50 AM to 2:15 AM on Friday-Saturday and from 5:50 AM to 12:02 AM on Sundays. Metro services are available with five different lines. It runs 5 AM to midnight on Monday-Thursday and Sunday and from 5 AM to 2 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays.
